Tehran slams UK ‘unfounded allegations’ against threats from Iran, Russia
Iran categorically slammed recent unfounded allegations raised by MI5 spy chief that UK is facing growing threats from Russia and Iran.
TABNAK, Oct, 09: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghei said, “Raising allegations against Iran by UK is in line with fake enemy making policy and diverting public opinion from role of British regime in continuous genocide in Palestine and warmongerings of Zionist regime in the region.”
He called for officials in London to use their influence to stop aggression and crimes of Zionist regime instead of making baseless allegations and deceitful issues.
His remarks came after the Head of Britain’s Domestic Intelligence Agency MI5 Ken McCallum claimed that Britain is facing a “staggering rise” in attempts at assassination, sabotage and other crimes on U.K. soil by Russia and Iran, as the two states recruit criminals to “do their dirty work.”
His remarks came whereas the UK along with Washington and other Western states have been involved in Zionist regime’s crimes against defenseless people in Gaza and Lebanon and even Yemen.
